As a sleep warden, you start at 9:45 PM and receive a handover from your colleagues. You are the point of contact for clients, monitoring the day and night rhythm and a safe living environment. In the event of any emergencies, we expect you to take action and be able to find practical solutions to problems. It is therefore important that you are resilient and can act adequately when necessary. Of course, you can always consult a colleague on the on-call service by telephone. In most cases, you will be able to sleep undisturbed in a separate room at the location. At 7:00 AM, you get up, manage the medication, and support clients with personal care where necessary. To conclude your shift, you provide the handover to your colleagues at 8:00 AM with a cup of coffee, and you can go home around 8:15 AM. During the night (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) you can sleep, of which 4 hours is paid with an irregular hours allowance (ORT). If you are woken up during the night, these hours will be compensated.

Ter Wheme is a modern building in the green, quiet Scherpenzeel, but is simultaneously located right in the center. All facilities such as shops, a GP, physiotherapist, pharmacy, sports clubs, and day activities are within walking distance. The bus stop is literally at your doorstep. At the end of 2024, the building was completely renovated, meaning residents and employees now live and work in a modern and comfortable environment.
The location consists of 29 studios and apartments with private sanitary facilities. We offer tailored guidance, both individually and in groups. Think of drinking coffee together, eating together, and activation. The degree of structure varies per resident: some clients live independently, others require more daily support. There is a communal area where residents gather frequently.
The team consists of personal and residential guides, sleep wardens, support staff, residential care workers, and household staff.
