You hold a pivotal role in the lives of adults and seniors with mild to very severe intellectual disabilities, in combination with psychiatric issues such as autism and attachment problems. All clients exhibit difficult-to-understand behavior, which requires your expertise, calmness, and coordinating skills. Medical issues such as epilepsy or diabetes also occur.

In this environment, you are not only a support worker, but also a coordinator, a connector, and a director of care. You know what is needed to create safety, structure, and trust, and you apply your professionalism to provide that foundation anew every single day. You are responsible for both support and care coordination:

• You act as a personal support worker and draw up individual care and support plans that align with the specific needs of the client.
• You organize and lead care plan meetings with colleagues and other disciplines.
• You are the point of contact for the client's network and other involved agencies.
• You support clients in daily activities, with attention to structure, safety, and clarity.
• You perform nursing technical procedures, if authorized and competent.
• You identify peculiarities in behavior or health, take action, and report carefully.
• You take on the coordination of projects within the team or domain.

You choose for yourself which location you want to work in. If you want a fixed group and to build a bond, that is possible. If you prefer to alternate between locations and target groups, that is also possible.

• Salary in accordance with CAO Disability Care, job group 40: €2,893 to €3,902 gross per month for 36 hours. Amounts as of September 10, 2026. Scaling depends on your diploma and your experience. If you work as a level 3 guide, you fall into job group 35: €2,597 to €3,635 per month.
• 8% holiday allowance and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 47% at night and 52% on the weekend. A weekend shift therefore yields up to €37.89 per hour.

• Choose your own shifts in the GOED. app, without any hourly obligation. You see what is available and you click what you want.
• A contract with fixed hours if you want that, from 16 to 36 hours per week. If you would rather be completely free, that is also possible.
• Holiday allowance, vacation days, travel expense reimbursement, and pension accrual. Simply arranged.
• A fixed contact person who knows you by name and who answers when you call.

• A diploma at mbo or hbo level in the field of care and welfare, for example SPW, MMZ, or Nursing
• Experience within disability care is a plus
