The activities take place within a residential care environment for young adults with an intellectual disability, possibly in combination with autism. The guidance is focused on stimulating independence and teaching and maintaining skills. During the week, residents go to work or day activities, with the exception of one day a week. The position involves working at two nearby residential locations, which provides variety in the tasks. You work in a dedicated team with attention to structure, safety, and the well-being of the residents.

The activities consist of, among other things:

• Guiding clients within the residential environment, particularly during night and sleep shifts
• Performing ADL activities and supporting personal care
• Administering and monitoring medication
• Identifying irregularities and acting adequately, also in night situations
• Guiding clients in maintaining and developing skills
• Dealing with and reacting adequately to situations involving epilepsy and diabetes
• Contributing to a safe residential environment

You choose for yourself which location you want to work in. If you want a fixed group and to build a bond, that is possible. If you prefer to alternate between locations and target groups, that is also possible.

• Salary in accordance with CAO Disability Care, job group 40: €2,893 to €3,902 gross per month for 36 hours. Amounts as of September 10, 2026. Scaling depends on your diploma and your experience. If you work as a level 3 guide, you fall into job group 35: €2,597 to €3,635 per month.
• 8% holiday allowance and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 47% at night and 52% on the weekend. A weekend shift therefore yields up to €37.89 per hour.

• A contract with fixed hours if you want that, from 16 to 36 hours per week. If you would rather be completely free, that is also possible.
• Holiday allowance, vacation days, travel expense reimbursement, and pension accrual. Simply arranged.
• A fixed contact person who knows you by name and who answers when you call.

• You have an MBO level 3 or 4 diploma as a caregiver in the field of care and welfare
• Experience within disability care is a plus
• Requirements: ADL, medication, and BHV (Emergency Response)
• You have an affinity for young adults with an intellectual disability, whether or not in combination with autism
• You can work independently and are alert during night and sleep shifts
• Knowledge of epilepsy and diabetes is important, and you are flexible because deployment at multiple locations is required
