The role

description

Do you want a permanent position and a permanent team, with the certainty of a good employer?

That is possible, and your irregularity allowance continues as usual. A weekend shift yields up to €37.89 per hour.

This assignment runs for a longer period, 24 to 28 hours per week, at one location in Arnhem. You will become part of the team. No changing faces, no constant retraining.

You will hear from us within one working day. Always, even if it is a no.

It saves us both time: without a completed diploma in healthcare or welfare, we cannot do anything for you. Our clients simply will not place you in a group then. Which diploma you need is listed under Is this for you. A foreign diploma counts as soon as Nuffic or IDW has evaluated it.

What you will do

The work takes place within a closed residential facility for adults with a severe multiple intellectual disability and an intensive support need. The clients have a very low developmental level and are largely dependent on guidance and ADL care. A portion of the clients exhibit challenging behavior, making a calm, predictable approach and appropriate interaction essential. Day activities take place largely within the residence and consist of activities such as movement, music, walking, and sensory stimulation (snoezelen), tailored to the individual needs of the client. The location offers a safe and stable living environment in which intensive care, structure, and quality of life are central.

As a support worker, you provide intensive care and guidance to clients with complex support needs. The duties include:

  • Performing ADL care and providing intensive daily guidance
  • Administering medication and performing nursing technical procedures for which you are authorized and competent
  • Guiding clients during activating activities, such as walking, sports, swimming, or sensory stimulation
  • Identifying changes in behavior, health, and well-being and acting appropriately upon them
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a safe, stable, and predictable living environment

You build a bond with the same clients and you see the results of your guidance. You work according to a schedule that you know in advance.

You will be employed on a secondment basis by GOED. and work for the client. Your salary, your contract, and your guidance are managed through us.

What you earn

  • Salary in accordance with CAO Disability Care, job group 40: €2,893 to €3,902 gross per month for 36 hours. Amounts as of September 10, 2026. Scaling depends on your diploma and your experience. If you work as a level 3 guide, you fall into job group 35: €2,597 to €3,635 per month.
  • 8% holiday allowance and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 47% at night and 52% on the weekend. A weekend shift therefore yields up to €37.89 per hour.

How it works when you apply

  1. You submit your application. Short and powerful is fine.
  2. You will hear from us within one working day.
  3. You schedule your own online introduction, at a time that suits you.
  4. In a follow-up interview, we will discuss your wishes and your experience.
  5. You will get access to your own GOED. environment.
  6. You receive your agreement, in black and white.
  7. You choose your first shift.

What else you get

  • Your BHV (Emergency Response), administering medication, and aggression regulation are free of charge, provided by GOED.academy.
  • A contract with fixed hours and a schedule that you know in advance.
  • One permanent position, so that you truly get to know your clients.
  • Holiday pay, vacation days, travel expense reimbursement, and pension accrual.
  • If this assignment ends, we will look for the next one. You do not need to apply again.

Does this suit you?

  • You have an MBO level 3 diploma as a guide or a Caregiver IG (Verzorgende IG)
  • Experience within disability care is a plus
  • You have an affinity for clients with a severe multiple intellectual disability and intensive support needs
  • You feel at home in an environment where both guidance and care are central and you connect calmly, clearly, and respectfully with the client's experience
  • Experience with challenging behavior is a strong plus
