  • The salary for this position is between € 5,005.- and € 6,256.- gross per month (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience

The role

We are looking for a site manager for our Waalkwartier project in Nijmegen! Are you someone who loves to roll up your sleeves and gets energy from organizing and managing on the construction site? As a site manager at Dura Vermeer Bouw Hengelo, you will have an important role on the construction site.

You make sure everything runs smoothly, monitor safety and planning, and motivate the team to build a fantastic apartment complex together. On this challenging project, you make the difference. What you'll do

As a site manager on the Waalkwartier project at Dura Vermeer Bouw Hengelo, you ensure that everything on the construction site runs like clockwork. In doing so, you have a sharp eye for safety, quality, and planning. You are a natural leader who motivates and directs the team and the subcontractors. You report directly to the project manager and work closely with the site engineers.

Coordinating, organizing and planning are familiar territory for you. As site supervisor, you are responsible for the execution of this challenging project. You are in daily charge on the construction site and manage your team. You ensure the monitoring and registration of quality, a safe construction site and a timely delivery.

You also coach and motivate the team on the construction site. You make sure there is a strong and successful team and encourage the team to deliver quality and achieve the objectives. Together with your team, you ensure a successful construction project!

The project

With the Waalkwartier project in Nijmegen, we are building something special. Here, we are realizing 309 apartments above a parking garage that is being integrated into a dike. This unique location, directly on the Waal and on the edge of the city center - calls for a tailor-made approach.

What further distinguishes this project is the great diversity of facades, volumes, and housing types. The apartments are highly varied in layout, size, and execution: from compact city apartments to modern, energy-efficient apartments with spacious balconies and a beautiful view of the Waal.

Not standard construction, but a challenging project with many details, customization, and coordination between disciplines.

This is what you bring

  • Safety always comes first for you! You have visibility into what is happening on your construction site. When problems arise, you act professionally and accurately and think in solutions.

  • A completed MBO or HBO education in civil engineering. 

  • You have relevant work experience as a site manager on various construction projects.
