(Senior) Concrete Construction Site Manager (North Brabant region)

• MBO or HBO level, for example in the field of civil engineering.
• Several years of experience as a site manager in civil infrastructure, so that you are confident in handling complex projects.
• Experience with civil structures, such as bridges, viaducts, underpasses, or other concrete works, preferably within integral or multidisciplinary projects.
• You can work independently on these types of projects and enjoy mentoring less experienced colleagues.

• A gross monthly salary of € 3,500 to € 6,500 (depending on knowledge and experience) for a full-time employment (40 hours).
• Good employment conditions according to the CAO Bouw & Infra for UTA employees (Technical Administrative Executive), including 20 vacation days and 10 non-working days, a monthly payment of 4.96% UTA days budget, and a 2.3% sustainable employability budget.

The widening of the A2 Vonderen-Kerensheide, the construction of the Royerssluis, or the construction of several grade-separated crossings over the road and the railway in Vught. These are just a few of the large-scale multi-million euro projects that Boskalis Netherlands is currently working on and for which we are looking for site managers. Which project you start on? We will decide that together based on your interest and region.

One thing is certain: it is always about a (sub)project that is technically challenging and involves many interests. That is exactly what makes your work so rewarding. Because the more stakeholders and interests there are, and the tighter the schedule, the more important it becomes that everything on-site is correct. You will therefore receive a lot of freedom and responsibility to organize the work in your own way.

• Every morning, you instruct the project team about the work and the schedule for that day. You also check whether subcontractors are delivering what has been agreed upon.
• Together with the general site manager, other site managers, and the work planner, you assess how the design can best be implemented on-site. You also consult with the client and with colleagues from our other disciplines, such as technical managers, ecologists, risk managers, and environmental managers.
• You manage progress and maintain control over costs. You also contribute ideas for smart working methods and solutions if something changes during execution.
• Equipment and materials in the right place at the right time? You arrange it, so that the work on-site can continue.
• Job satisfaction on the construction site is a priority. You maintain the positive atmosphere and understand how important it is to celebrate both large and small successes together.

Do you recognize yourself in this?
With your clear direction, you lay the foundation for the work on-site. You ensure calm and oversight at the project location and act as a point of contact for clients and subcontractors. You also communicate easily with diverse colleagues, from specialists to project leaders and technical managers. You keep everyone aligned and signal in time where adjustments are needed, even when the schedule is under pressure or the environment demands a lot. And very importantly: you work well in a team that enjoys working hard and having fun doing it.
