Dura Vermeer is hiring for this role in several places. This vacancy is in Utrecht.
This job advert was originally written in Dutch.
The role
Dura Vermeer Assetmanagement is growing and you can play a key role in this! As tender leader asset management, you translate the challenges of clients into strong proposals for the management and maintenance of infrastructure. You bring the right people together, determine the tender strategy, and steer the course from the initial request to the final submission. In this way, you help us win contracts that match our ambitions.
What you'll do
As a tender leader at Dura Vermeer Assetmanagement, you lead tender and quotation processes. You fathom the client's request, identify opportunities, and map out risks. Together with the tender team, you translate these insights into a distinctive, feasible, and competitive proposal.
You monitor the planning, the budget, and the quality of the submission. You distribute responsibilities, maintain an overview, and ensure that decisions are made on time. In doing so, you connect the technical content, the approach, and the price into one coherent proposal. You challenge colleagues to look further and make sharp choices together: how do we add value for the client and how do we deliver on that?
Within the Procurement team, you work closely with, among others, a cost expert, EMVI coordinator, and tender managers. For the substantive elaboration, you involve specialists from Operations and the Digital Measurement and Inspection division. Together, you investigate how data, digitalization, and smart maintenance strategies contribute to reliable and sustainable infrastructure.
You also keep an eye on execution from the very beginning. You ensure that our proposal aligns with what we can realize in the field and, upon award, contribute to a clear handover to the project team. You use experiences from previous tenders and ongoing contracts to continually improve our approach.
This is where you belong
At Dura Vermeer Assetmanagement, we ensure that infrastructure remains in top condition. As a national player with a strong local network, we manage and maintain assets for Rijkswaterstaat, provinces, airports, and other clients.
We specialize in the maintenance of pavements, waterways, and green spaces and play an important role in ice and snow control. Our strength lies in combining data, technology, and strategic asset management. With this, we help clients make well-founded maintenance choices and keep their infrastructure safe, available, and sustainable.
As a tender leader, you work with colleagues who enjoy sharing their knowledge and strive for results together. The lines are short and your ideas and initiative are given space.
What you bring
You are interested in leading tenders and quotation processes and want to further develop yourself in this area. Experience is welcome, but not required.
A background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or infra is a plus.
You possess persuasiveness and switch easily between clients, colleagues, and external partners.
You see opportunities and enjoy thinking along about how we translate them into a strong proposal.
You enjoy working together with various specialists and know how to connect people to a common result.
This is what we offer you
The salary for this position is between €5639.81 and €7049.76 gross per month (based on 40 hours)*, excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.
On top of the salary, there is a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).
With an eye on a long-term relationship, we offer you an indefinite contract immediately.
43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;
A laptop and a smartphone.
Excellent secondary employment conditions such as standard insurance for all employee risks, pension schemes, an extra supplement in case of disability, and a contribution towards trade union membership.
You have the choice between an electric lease car, a mobility budget, or an NS Business Card.
With a permanent contract you can choose a brand-new (electric) bicycle thanks to our partnership with lease-a-bike.
Much attention to your growth thanks to our own Dura Vermeer Academy with plenty of education and training opportunities within your field, but also in the area of vitality.
Company fitness scheme with a choice from a sports offering of over 3,500 sports locations throughout the Netherlands.
A good work-life balance thanks to a flexible working policy and smooth arrangements for working hours, working times, emergencies, caregiving, or sabbatical
For new fathers and partners: 100% continued payment of your salary during the 5 weeks of supplementary birth leave, instead of the standard 70%.
For the generation that has accumulated student debt during the new loan system, there is a beneficial scheme for the repayment of student debt. You can contribute an amount from your gross salary annually to repay your student debt. Dura Vermeer doubles your contribution.
