The role

As a railway signaling technician, you are an essential link in a team of driven professionals. Ensuring that trains can continue their journey safely and without delay after being taken out of service.

What you'll do

You ensure that signals, switches, and level crossing barriers on our railway network are built and delivered ready for use. Faults in these systems have a direct impact on train traffic, so your work is of great importance. You do this, of course, not alone, but together with your colleagues, the project planner, and the site manager.

  • analyzing and performing construction, repair, and maintenance work on, among others, substations and switch cabinets;

  • checking, measuring, and resolving faults in electrotechnical systems;

  • monitoring the progress and quality of the projects;

  • drawing up and checking earthing plans, and you safeguard the safety of yourself and your colleagues;

  • performing the work and carrying out and registering inspections in consultation with the site manager;

  • you are stress-resistant and do not mind working nights and weekends

What you bring

Are you a railway signaling technician who wants to take a step up in the long term, for example to head technician or site manager? Do you not have all your qualifications yet? That is no problem. We will train you ourselves. However, we do find it important that you have about 5 years of work experience on the tracks. And furthermore:
