The role
Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for a temporary assignment where you can make an immediate impact? To cover maternity leave, Dura Vermeer Bouw & Vastgoed Amsterdam is looking for an energetic and independent HR professional to strengthen our team from December 14, 2026, to early June 2027. Do you have an affinity for real estate development, construction projects, and organizational development? Then we would love to meet you.
What you'll do
As an interim HR Advisor, you will be an important sparring partner for employees and managers within our organization. You will step into a dynamic environment where you can work independently on various HR issues from day one.
You will advise and support in the areas of inflow, throughput, and outflow, prevention and absenteeism, team development, and employee development. Additionally, you will ensure the proper application of HR policy and contribute to ongoing HR initiatives and projects.
You move easily through the organization, are visibly present at the office as well as at our project locations, and know what is happening within the teams. From that involvement, you translate signals into practical and appropriate HR advice.
Within this assignment, you will work closely with the HR Manager and Corporate Recruiter. Together, you will ensure that both employees and managers are optimally supported.
This will be your assignment
What makes this assignment interesting?
An independent HR advisory role within a leading development and construction organization.
Plenty of variety between operational, tactical, and project-based HR issues.
The opportunity to think along about themes such as onboarding, vitality, team development, diversity & inclusion, and innovation within HR.
A dedicated and professional team in which collaboration is central.
An assignment where you add value directly for both colleagues and the organization.

About the company & team
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can feel it. In how we work together, how we look out for one another, and how we build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building in the Netherlands, in residential construction, utility construction, infrastructure, and technology.
With more than 3,700 colleagues, we work daily on projects that contribute to a sustainable and future-proof living environment. In doing so, we believe that the success of our organization begins with engaged people who work together with pleasure and take responsibility.
This is where you will be located
You will work from our modern office in Amsterdam-West, where more than 250 colleagues work together on area developments and attractive residential and utility projects.
Within this temporary assignment, you will become part of a close-knit HR team and will be given the space to independently shape your activities. We are looking for someone who quickly finds their way within the organization, shows initiative, and provides immediate added value.
You are available from December 14, 2026, for a short induction period. You do not need to be fully available during this period. However, from the first week of January 2027, you must be fully available. The assignment runs until early June 2027.
