As an HR Advisor, you are a substantive sparring partner for management and an accessible point of contact for employees. You operate close to the floor and ensure that HR is practical and well-organized.

You monitor progress, priorities and quality, and you encourage collaboration between departments. You ensure that HR processes comply with laws and regulations, that employees are well supported, and that HR policy is continuously further developed.

You are visible in the operation, switch easily between strategic, tactical, and operational levels, and know how to make complex issues clear and practical.

We are looking for an HR professional who stands firm, maintains an overview, and derives energy from building a professional, future-proof HR organization.

This role is a good fit for someone who:

• Has experience with HR policy and HR instruments

• As an HR Advisor, you are responsible for the complete HR policy and its further development. You:

• Advise hotel management and colleagues on HR issues such as policy, organizational development, personnel planning, absenteeism, and strategic employability

• Manage HR Officer(s) and ensure their development, coaching, and daily guidance

• Develop and implement HR instruments, procedures, and guidelines that align with the business strategy

• Monitor the quality and progress of HR projects and adjust where necessary

• Identify opportunities for improvement within HR processes and translate these into concrete actions

• Ensure correct application of labor law and compliance with laws and regulations

• Analyze HR data and translate insights into clear advice and improvement plans

• Stimulate internal collaboration and ensure departments align optimally with each other

• Maintain HR regulations, personnel instruments, and internal communication

• Support managers in leadership, personnel management, and team development

• Actively contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive work culture

• You bring the knowledge, experience, and personality to establish HR professionally and with a future focus within Corendon and Marriott.

• HBO/WO working and thinking level

• You have at least 3+ years of experience as an HR advisor

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, HR developments, and the hospitality sector

• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both oral and written

• Ability to act as a professional sparring partner towards directors and management

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to recognize problems, establish connections, and formulate solutions

• Natural leadership qualities and persuasiveness

• Integrity, reliability, and care; you know that every word counts

• Ability to develop plans, communicate them, and translate them into concrete actions
