The role

Do you want to contribute to a work environment where people can continue to work in a healthy, motivated, and enjoyable manner? As Program Manager Sustainable Employability and Vitality at Dura Vermeer, you will develop an organization-wide approach in which prevention, vitality, absenteeism management, and sustainable reintegration come together. You translate insights and ambitions into concrete programs that support employees and managers and contribute to a healthy, future-proof organization.

What you'll do

From our headquarters, Dura Vermeer Groep in Rotterdam, you will develop a clear vision, a multi-year program, and concrete implementation plans for sustainable employability and vitality. You will analyze absenteeism figures, employee feedback, and signals from the organization and service providers, translating these into targeted improvements. In doing so, you will keep an eye on the various target groups within Dura Vermeer, from employees at project locations to colleagues in the office. You will work closely with HR in the business, Safety, and management to ensure policy aligns with daily practice and to structurally anchor prevention within the organization.

Additionally, you will take charge of the entire provider spectrum for prevention, vitality, absenteeism, and reintegration. You will assess the existing offering, select suitable service providers, and make agreements regarding quality, service, costs, and results. Together with Procurement and other involved parties, you will conduct contract negotiations, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement. You will also maintain cooperation with sectoral partners, occupational health services, and health insurers. In this way, you ensure a coherent offering that aligns with the needs of Dura Vermeer and its employees.

You will manage the program in terms of content, planning, budget, and results. You will make it clear which interventions have an effect, where opportunities for improvement lie, and how the organization can realize its ambitions regarding sustainable employability and absenteeism prevention. In doing so, you connect policy, data, and practice, and you know how to bring people along. With your strategic vision, organizational sensitivity, and result-oriented approach, you make sustainable employability and vitality both concrete and impactful.

At Dura Vermeer, you work in an environment where collaboration, innovation, and development are central. You will be given the space to make an impact, improve processes, policy, and vitality, and contribute to a healthy, sustainable, and future-proof organization. You will work together with passionate colleagues within HR, Safety, Procurement, and collaborating partners, all with the same goal: continuous improvement and adding value.

Requirements

Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, look out for one another, and build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, utility construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the basis for this.

With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, it is not about those figures for us. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of – iconic and close to home – and contributing to solutions for societal issues.

Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with committed people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a work environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and make more together with us.

We are describing the ideal candidate here. When you do not possess all the required expertise, but do have the ambition to grow further and become enthusiastic about this vacancy, we would also love to see your CV/motivation, so that we can look together where we can make the connection.

This is what you bring
