At Dura Vermeer Materieel, equipment returns daily from our construction projects. From small parts to large equipment. Think, for example, of construction fences, but also large construction containers and everything in between. It is the task of you and your colleagues to ensure that everything is received, checked, and processed correctly. You work nicely outdoors, have a lot of contact with colleagues, and no two days are the same. Whether the sun is shining or it is freezing, you love to roll up your sleeves!

As a Logistics Assistant, you and your colleagues are responsible for processing all the equipment that returns from our projects. You check what comes in, see if everything is complete, and identify any damages. In this way, you ensure that the equipment is ready again for maintenance, storage, or a subsequent project.

What will you be doing?

• You receive and check equipment returning from our construction projects.

• You check if everything is complete and identify damages or discrepancies.

• You register what comes in and ensure that everything ends up in the right place.

• You load, unload, and move equipment using the forklift.

• You have a lot of contact with colleagues from transport, planning, dispatch, and maintenance.

• Together with your colleagues, you keep the yard neat, safe, and organized.

• You think along about how we can organize the work more smartly and easily.

And if things are a bit quieter with the returns for a while? Then you will naturally see what still needs to be done. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the yard is looking spick and span again.

Because you are on the work floor every day and often know better than anyone else what can be improved!

You will be working at our yard in Haaften, where you will collaborate with colleagues from various departments. The atmosphere is down-to-earth, we help each other, and we enjoy rolling up our sleeves. You don't need to hold a meeting about everything: just work together to ensure the job gets done.

And perhaps most importantly: you love working outdoors. Of course, that is lovely in the summer, but even in the winter, you won't let a little cold stop you! You will do this from 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

We are primarily looking for someone who loves to roll up their sleeves, works accurately, and can collaborate well.

Furthermore, it is great if you:

• Like working outdoors and being physically active.

• Are accurate and find it important that everything is correct.

• Maintain an overview, even when many things are happening at once.

• Switch easily with colleagues and transporters.

• Have experience in logistics. That would be a bonus!

• Have a forklift certificate.

• Have a VCA certificate.
