What we're looking for

HBO working and thinking level, preferably with an education in HRM.
Several years of relevant experience as an HR Assistant, HR Officer, HR Advisor, or in a similar broad HR role.
Knowledge of the most important HR themes such as development, absenteeism, and laws and regulations.
You enjoy working independently at different companies.
You are practical, careful, and able to switch quickly between companies on both an operational and tactical level.
You are a strong communicator and move easily between employees and managers.
You possess a driver's license and find it no problem to travel regularly within the Amsterdam region.

We are primarily looking for someone who loves to put HR into practice. You are accessible to employees, but can also provide firm and professional advice when necessary.

The role

Do you want to work close to the practice as an HR Advisor and ensure that HR is simply well-organized within various companies? At the VDK Groep, you will support 4 to 5 independent installation companies in the Amsterdam region. You will be regularly on-site, getting to know the people and knowing what is happening within the companies.

You will work closely with the regional HR Business Partner. While the HR Business Partner focuses primarily on more strategic HR issues, your strength lies precisely in daily practice. You help managers and employees, tackle HR issues, and ensure that HR processes within the companies are executed well.

What you'll do

As an HR Advisor, you will have your own group of 4 to 5 VDK companies. In principle, you will be present at a company a maximum of one day per week. This way, you become a familiar face on-site, while simultaneously being part of the regional HR team. A great, versatile role because each company is different and carries different tasks. This can include, among other things:

Supporting managers and employees with daily HR issues.
Guiding the inflow, internal movement, and outflow of employees.
Supporting absenteeism, performance, development, and other personnel issues.
Ensuring HR processes are executed well.
Working with HR data and ensuring personnel information is current and complete.
Contributing to regional and VDK-wide HR initiatives.

No two days are the same: contact with the companies, managers, and employees forms an important part of your work. You switch between developing HR policy, advising managers, and providing practical support for daily HR issues.
