As a senior civil works supervisor at BESIX Nederland, you hold ultimate responsibility for the realization of (sub)projects within the ViA15.

Within this large-scale infrastructure project – including the construction of a new A15 route, the widening of existing highways, and the construction of complex structures – you will take the lead in the execution of civil works. This includes concrete structures such as viaducts, bridges, and other technical masterpieces.

You manage multiple supervisors and teams and act as an important sparring partner for project management, work preparation, and engineering. You oversee the whole picture without losing sight of the execution.

In this senior supervisor role, you are responsible for both the operational management and the strategic progress of your project components within the A15.

You will be involved in:

• The integrated management of the execution of civil subprojects, with a focus on concrete and structures;
• Leading and coaching (junior) supervisors and subcontractor site employees;
• Monitoring planning, budget, quality, and safety at the project level;
• Coordinating with project management, engineers, and external stakeholders;
• Managing risks, opportunities, and optimizations within the execution;
• Coordinating subcontractors and complex logistical processes;
• Initiating and implementing improvements in working methodologies and processes;
• Reporting to the project manager regarding progress, performance, and deviations.

You are visibly present on the construction site, but also act at a tactical level within the project team.

You are an experienced and steady senior supervisor with leadership qualities and a strong technical foundation. You have extensive experience within complex civil projects and know how to motivate teams and raise performance to a higher level.

You switch effortlessly between detail and overview and are accustomed to carrying responsibility for large project components.
