In the dynamic and varied role of experienced Civil Works Foreman | Infra | Marine, you are responsible for instruction, coordination, and you monitor the progress, finances, quality, safety, working conditions, and environment-related matters of the work.

Together with the project team, you hold daily consultations and act as a sounding board and point of contact for the project, and you provide daily leadership on the construction site within your field. You have contact with clients, users, suppliers, and subcontractors where necessary. You oversee a safe, timely, and correct execution of the activities. In doing so, you report directly to the head foreman within the team.

Furthermore…

• You are entrepreneurial and manage your work within the frameworks of the project;
• the use of LEAN tools is familiar to you - you are an enthusiastic ambassador of this methodology;
• you provide input for overall planning and phasing, and in consultation with your team, you draw up the 6-week schedules;
• you perform inspections of the work carried out;
• you are responsible for conducting start-of-work briefings and HSE instructions;
• you track extra and/or reduced work and report this to the main site manager;
• you work in accordance with QHSE rules within BESIX and act as an emergency responder (BHV) on location;
• you arrange inspections together with the work preparation department;
• you attend execution meetings where necessary;
• you act as a point of contact on the construction site.
