The role

Digitalization is changing the way governments and public organizations work, make decisions, and organize service delivery. At the same time, there is a growing need for practical solutions, applicable knowledge, and smart tools that help organizations make complex digital issues manageable.

Do you want to gain experience within a leading consultancy firm and contribute to issues in the fields of digitalization, data, digital autonomy, and public innovation? Then this internship is for you.

What you'll do

As an intern within the Digital Transformation team, you will support advisors on various assignments for ministries, executive agencies, provinces, municipalities, and other social organizations.

Your duties include

Supporting research, analyses, and advisory assignments.
Preparing and supporting workshops, working sessions, and meetings for clients.
Collaborating on the development of practical guides, methodologies, and knowledge products.
Elaborating research results into concrete products for clients.
Updating and enriching our website, publications, and online knowledge products.
Structuring, updating, and further developing existing knowledge collections into a shareable knowledge catalog.
Conducting market and desk research into developments in the fields of digitalization, data, and digital autonomy.
Supporting the further development of our digital autonomy quick scan and other propositions.

Depending on your interests and background, you will also participate in ongoing advisory projects.

What you bring

You are following a higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) education at the intersection of data, digitalization, IT, and organizational issues, such as information management, business IT & management, digital business, data science & business, technical business administration, public administration (with a focus on digitalization), business administration (with a focus on technology or innovation), or a similar program.

Additionally:

Do you have an affinity with digitalization and social issues.
Are you analytically strong and curious.
Do you work independently and in a structured manner.
Can you write down complex information clearly.
Do you enjoy developing knowledge and making it practically applicable.

Internship Plus Program

In addition to your internship, you can participate in the Berenschot internship plus program: a training program of approximately 3.5 months that offers training in the fields of advisory knowledge, skills, and personal development.
