As a government finance consultant, you will work on assignments that contribute directly to the financial health and administrative strength of the public sector. Your tasks and responsibilities depend on your level of experience. You will:

• Perform analyses of budgets, financial documents, and policy papers.

• Support feasibility studies and business cases.

• Work in project teams and learn from experienced colleagues.

• Advise on financial issues and strategic choices.

• Manage (sub)projects and maintain contact with clients.

• Contribute ideas regarding improvements in business operations and control functions.

• Maintain and build relationships with clients.

• Actively contribute to the development of the field, for example through digital tools and AI applications.

You will become part of the Finance, Operations, and Control team within the Public Administration advisory group. This team works daily on issues surrounding financial sustainability, budgetary issues, and corporate control. Together, we ensure that public resources are deployed in a responsible and effective manner.

• A completed Master's degree, for example in (business) economics, public administration, political science, or law.

• You have at least two years of relevant work experience in the field and are ready for a next step in a broader advisory role within a challenging advisory environment.
