The role

The Strategy Execution & Implementation (SE&I) team at ABN AMRO Bank, our center of expertise for change, is looking for enthusiastic and eager-to-learn university students for a working internship. During this internship, you will help support and execute complex change projects that advance the bank's strategy. You will work in a team within a dynamic environment that challenges you to bring out the best in yourself.

As an intern, you will be part of the Consultancy Pool team within SE&I. The Consultancy Pool forms the foundation of the department and has a strong focus on developing a broad consulting skillset. From the Consultancy Pool, consultants are deployed flexibly on strategic and complex change assignments within the various expertises and departments of the bank. For example, our consultants work on the digitalization of the bank, on integrating the bank's new acquisitions, or on implementing new legislation. Due to this central positioning, we develop all-round consultants with broad knowledge of ABN AMRO. In this way, we increase the bank's execution power, with less dependency on external consultancy.

In doing so, you will not only help our internal clients move forward, but you will also learn an enormous amount yourself.

What you'll do

You will be fully involved in one of the change projects that we carry out within SE&I. Your workday will consist of various challenging tasks, to be further agreed upon with your internship supervisor, with the aim of introducing you to the consulting profession, our company, and the financial sector. Your activities will vary greatly, but a few examples are:

Collaborating with consultants from SE&I and other colleagues within the bank
Gathering and structuring information and input from colleagues
Organizing and facilitating workshops
Monitoring and recording progress within a project and supporting decision-making
Performing analyses

Who are you?

Are you proactive, eager to learn, analytical, and do you enjoy helping others? Do you work carefully and have an eye for detail? Are you also communicative and do you navigate easily in the digital world? Then we are looking for you!

You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
You are proactive and work in a problem-solving manner;
You enjoy mastering new content;
You are analytically strong;
You are looking for an internship starting from February 2027 for at least 20 weeks;
You are available at least 4 days per week.
