Optometrist

• The salary is classified according to scale 55 (FWG 3.0) and amounts to a minimum of € 3,903.- and a maximum of € 5,503.- per month based on 36 hours per week. In addition, you will receive an 8.33% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%.

• Initially, you will support the ophthalmologists and perform functional examinations such as biometry, visual field examinations, pachymetry, flare examination, FAG, fundus photography, pentacam, and (anterior segment) OCT.

• You will work towards independently running your own consultation hours. You will work closely with ophthalmologists, physician assistants, other optometrists, technical ophthalmic assistants, orthoptists, and medical assistants.

• You will be given an important role in guiding and informing our patients. You will then independently run your own consultation hours, including postoperative, glaucoma, diabetes, and 'new patient' consultations. You will ensure the digital processing of examination results and reporting.

You derive energy from thinking along with - and working towards - the further professionalization of the department. You will also contribute to the organizational area by participating in various projects and working groups. You will receive opportunities for further development, such as training and attending symposia.

We have a large and modernly equipped outpatient clinic. The ophthalmology partnership consists of 6 ophthalmologists and is supported by optometrists, orthoptists, PAs, TOAs, and medical assistants.

• A one-year contract for 24-32 hours per week with the intention to, provided organizational circumstances remain unchanged and there is mutual satisfaction, convert this into a permanent contract. The location is Harderwijk, but you can also be deployed at our location in Lelystad, where we are fully engaged in the further development and growth of the ophthalmology outpatient clinic.
