Qualifications & Experience:
We are looking for an intern who possesses the following education and (personal) skills:

Role description

In our team in Amersfoort, there is a vacancy at the beginning of 2026 for an intern (work placement or graduation assignment). Our team consists of soil specialists, project managers, and GIS/data specialists. In addition to our substantive knowledge of soil, soil contamination, and/or soil remediation, we also organize all conditioning surveys in the field for our clients. Think of land engineering, archaeology, ecology, geohydrology, geotechnics, or unexploded ordnance. In short, all the investigations required to subsequently be able to actually carry out the projects outdoors: the "conditioning surveys". Our projects take place throughout the country. We work for, among others, companies such as TenneT, NAM, and PWN.

You will be part of an enthusiastic group, mostly young colleagues. Many of us started as interns or immediately after their studies. We will determine the content of your internship in consultation with you, depending on our ongoing projects, but also on your wishes or the requirements from your studies.

Examples of activities

The specific activities depend on which assignments are being carried out during your internship. Furthermore, there is room to delve into a specific topic within this internship. Think, for example, of topics such as land engineering/soil mapping, vital soil, and sustainability.

You will follow the daily course of business and you will be a full part of the team. During this internship, you will truly get to know what it is like to work at an engineering firm. We work together several days a week at the Amersfoort office, but during your internship, there is also the possibility to work partly from home.

Does it seem like an interesting challenge to you to start working within our advisory group? Then quickly read on to see if you meet the requested profile.

"Advisory Group"
Our Soil and Conditioning advisory group operates from 3 teams, spread across the offices in Rotterdam, Assen, and Amersfoort. We carry out multidisciplinary projects for clients primarily in the energy, infra, and oil and gas sectors. In addition, our advisory group works intensively with our colleagues from the Soil and Healthy Living advisory group.

Do you recognize yourself in the profile above? Then apply for this educational internship within the Soil and Conditioning advisory group.
