Internship - Digital Transformation of Infrastructure Cost Data

For the period from February 2027 to September 2027, we are looking for a graduate intern who wants to delve into the digital transformation of cost data management. Within this internship, you will research how cost data can be collected, structured, managed, and reused more intelligently, so that cost experts have faster access to reliable and up-to-date information.

You will map out the current way of working and information sources, identify bottlenecks, and investigate opportunities for standardization, automation, and the application of data analysis and AI. Based on this, you will develop and test a practically applicable approach or prototype.

The internship offers the opportunity to combine a current digitalization issue with the practice of cost management within complex infrastructural projects. You will work together with experienced cost experts and other specialists and will be given the space to translate your research into a solution that can actually be used within the team. The intended results are a substantiated advice, a working concept or prototype, and recommendations for further implementation and development.

You will be working within the Cost Management team of the CCM department. The team prepares cost estimates, assesses market conformity, and advises clients during various phases of infrastructural projects. Within the team, there is a lot of attention to digitalization, knowledge sharing, and the further development of data-driven working.
