Your profile:

Passion for construction costs and large-scale construction projects
You have a HBO or WO working and thinking level with a technical background, at least 8 years of experience (Real Estate, Building Technology, Installation Technology, or similar)
You have experience in the construction cost profession
You are proficient in both the Dutch and English languages;
You can plan and organize well;
You enjoy working in a team and with stakeholders across the broad organization;
You get enthusiastic about international collaboration

Role description:
As a Senior Construction Cost Advisor, you will fulfill an important advisory role within the broad field of our Cost & Data Management advisory group. You will work on projects in which you collaborate with your Arcadian colleagues, clients, and design teams. We work for large public and private clients with high sustainability ambitions. Projects you work on include, for example, large-scale new construction and renovation of utility buildings such as; laboratories, hospitals, data centers, giga-factories, and airports.

What you'll do

Role responsibilities:
Creating cost budgets, estimates, and indications based on benchmarks and translating them into strategic advice for clients are your most important tasks. You do this continuously throughout a project for various design phases and incorporate your forecasts into advisory reports. In our advice, we include Life Cycle Costing, asset management, indexation, risk management, cost-benefit analyses, sustainable and circular design. In this way, we create broad impact on the success of the project. You are the first point of contact and guide our clients from the initial request to the successful completion of our assignments.

The activities include, among others:

Preparing estimates in the SO, VO, and DO phases,
Proactive participation in design teams by proposing alternatives and optimizations
Calculating sustainability issues
Further development of our own Installation Cost database
Guiding more-and-less-work processes
