Role description:
As a Senior MEP Cost Advisor, you will fulfill an important advisory and supportive role within the broad field of our Cost & Data Management advisory group. You will work on projects where you collaborate with your Arcadis colleagues, clients, and design teams. We work for large public and private clients with high sustainability ambitions. You will often work on complex (international) projects, such as large-scale new construction and renovation of utility buildings like laboratories, hospitals, and airports.

Role responsibilities:
Creating cost budgets, estimates, and indications based on key figures and translating them into strategic advice for clients are your most important tasks. You do this continuously throughout various design phases of a project and incorporate your forecasts into advisory reports. In our advice, we include Life Cycle Costing, asset management, indexation, risk management, cost-benefit analyses, sustainable and circular design, thereby creating broad impact on the success of the project.

Installation costs are becoming an increasingly important part of total construction costs. Particularly due to our focus on projects and programs where sustainability plays a major role, your knowledge and input as an installation cost expert is essential. The duties of the installation cost expert include:

• Preparing estimates in the SO, VO, and DO phases,
• Proactive participation in design teams by proposing alternatives and optimizations
• Calculating sustainability issues
• Further development of our own Installation Cost database
• Guiding more-and-less-work processes

Qualifications & Experience:
