Operational Coordinator

At HMVT, part of Antea Group Nederland, we work daily towards a cleaner environment with smart solutions for soil remediation, air treatment, and water purification. From our workshop, we realize installations for projects throughout the Netherlands. As an Operational Coordinator, you are the pivot between project management, work preparation, and execution. You ensure that project plans are seamlessly translated into efficient work preparation and a smoothly running workshop. You maintain an overview, adjust where necessary, and take ownership of the entire chain: from request to execution. You provide direction to the business office and are responsible for the coordination between work preparation, planning, procurement, and execution. At the same time, you have one foot in the operations: you take responsibility for the operational and tactical management of work preparation, the workshop, and technicians, and you actively help to resolve bottlenecks and improve processes.

In this role, you combine operational insight with a hands-on mentality. You manage based on structure and results, but never lose sight of the team and the practical reality.

• Connecting projects with work preparation and the workshop, so that plans also become truly executable;

• Directing capacity, planning, and the deployment of people and resources;

• Managing and developing the business office (work preparation, procurement, planning) and acting as the link to execution;

• Continuously improving processes and working methods (for example, using Lean);

• Switching gears quickly during disruptions and taking responsibility for solutions;

• Collaborating in the operations where necessary and being visible on the work floor;

• Calculating projects.

You will join a compact and close-knit team of 23 colleagues, where craftsmanship, short lines of communication, and collaboration are central. You are someone who brings structure, maintains an overview, and knows how to engage people. You feel responsible for the whole and dare to make decisions, but always remain close to the practical reality. Additionally, you possess:

• A higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) education, for example in civil engineering, environmental technology or similar; mechanical engineering

• Experience in a business office, production, or project organization in which you switch between preparation and execution;

• Experience in a management role, for example as a team leader, project manager, or operations manager;

• Affinity with installation construction and internal logistics;

• A result-oriented and decisive attitude, combined with strategic insight

You are a leader who provides direction and also collaborates. Someone who does not stand on the sidelines, but is in the middle of the process – and thereby makes the difference.
