At least 5 years of experience with functional/application management, preferably in an HR environment;
Deep process insight: you understand how HR processes are structured and where they often go wrong;

Experience with AFAS or similar systems and chain integrations;
Experience with projects and change management processes;

The role

You ensure that our HR systems not only work, but are correct - and you ensure that processes get better.

What you'll do

As a senior application administrator, you are responsible, together with two colleagues, for the management and further development of our HR systems, with AFAS as the primary application. You oversee the whole picture, see where processes can be smarter, simpler, and more efficient, and translate this into concrete improvements. In doing so, you operate at the intersection of functional management, application management, and process optimization.

You take charge, bring structure, and are a strong interlocutor for users and other stakeholders. For complex changes and projects, you naturally take the lead. You know when you need to dive into the details yourself and when you should maintain an overview, set priorities, and bring others along. In this way, you are not just an administrator of systems, but above all a driver of improvement.

From our Heerenveen location, you will join the HR Management team, part of the HR & Quality department. This team consists of eight colleagues who will gladly welcome you and show you the ropes. Additionally, you will interface intensively with HR business partners, IT, and other staff departments. For many colleagues, you are the go-to person when it comes to HR systems and process design. In doing so, you are not only service-oriented but also critical: you dare to say 'no' if that is better.
