Civil Structures Designer

Help build the civil structures of tomorrow. Bridges, viaducts, tunnels, underpasses, and locks. The Netherlands runs on them. Behind every structure lies a smart and thoughtful design. Are you at the beginning of your career and do you get energy from engineering, 3D modeling, and innovative design tools such as Revit? Then we have a great challenge for you.

Within the Civil Structures team, you will work together with designers, structural engineers, project managers, and advisors on engaging infrastructural projects throughout the Netherlands. You will get plenty of room to learn, develop yourself, and grow into a specialist in the field of civil structures.

As a Civil Structures Designer, you will contribute to the design and development of diverse infrastructural projects. You translate ideas into smart and constructible designs and contribute to an efficient and digital project approach.

Your responsibilities include

• Modeling and developing bridges, viaducts, tunnels, and other civil structures in Revit;

• Preparing 3D models, drawings, and design documents;

• Collaborating with structural engineers and designers to arrive at integrated and feasible solutions;

• Thinking along about BIM, automation, and the further digitalization of our design processes;

• Developing yourself into an independent designer within multidisciplinary projects.

You will be part of our Civil Structures team. A team of enthusiastic specialists working daily on the infrastructure of tomorrow. We share knowledge, help each other progress, and search together for innovative solutions to complex issues. You will work closely with experienced designers, structural engineers, and project managers who will guide you in your professional development.

You don't need to be able to do everything yet. We believe that talent develops by being curious, taking initiative, and collaborating. Therefore, we are primarily looking for someone who wants to learn and wants to further develop themselves.

In addition, you possess:

• A completed or nearly completed HBO or WO degree in Civil Engineering, Built Environment, or a similar field;

• Interest in civil structures and infrastructure;

• Experience with Revit or the ambition to further develop yourself in this;

• Affinity with BIM and 3D design;

• A proactive attitude and good collaboration skills;

• Curiosity about the engineering behind bridges, viaducts, tunnels, and locks.
