Requirements
What we're looking for
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.
- Strong and broad interest in bus technology and production processes.
- Experience in an automotive or mechanical engineering production environment is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of MS Office, ISO 9000, ISO 14001.
- Good experience in quality methodologies (e.g., QCP, 8D, 6M Ishikawa, 5x why, MSA, FMEA, CTQ flowdown).
Nice to have
- A good knowledge of Dutch and English - German and/or French is a plus.

What you'll do
- Help analyze and resolve quality issues reported by the customer.
- Guide the customer during bus inspections, follow up on NCs, and take the lead to resolve them.
- Collect relevant quality data and process it into KPIs and pareto charts.
- Continuously and structurally improve and safeguard delivery quality, including managing action plans and drafting 8D reports.
- Support during customer visits.
- Ensure that corrective and preventive measures are implemented to safeguard our quality.
- Drafting procedures and instructions within the quality department.
- Close cross-functional collaboration with colleagues from the quality department and other departments within VDL Bus Roeselare.
- Reporting to the Quality Manager.
