What we're looking for

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree;

• Experience as a project manager, commercial manager, or strategic advisor;

• Experience within permit issuance, permit management, compliance, or environmental management;

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the Environment Act;

• Experience within the public and/or private market;

• A relevant network within government, energy, industry, infra, or spatial development is a plus;

• Financial insight and experience with project control, contract management, and budget responsibility;

• Strong commercial skills and entrepreneurship;

• A coaching and connecting leadership style.

As a project manager for permits and procedures, you guide clients through permit issuance, compliance, and societal developments. You combine commercial insight with strong project responsibility.

What you'll do

As Project Manager Permits & Procedures, you are responsible for building client relationships, acquiring assignments, and successfully managing projects within one or more of our areas of expertise: permit issuance, environmental permits, permit management, compliance, and environmental management. You are the face to the client and know how to translate market developments into concrete opportunities and smart solutions. You actively build sustainable relationships, develop your network, and position our services with both public and private clients. In doing so, you see commercial opportunities where others primarily experience obstacles. After securing an assignment, you remain closely involved. You hold ultimate responsibility for the execution of projects and lead project managers and multidisciplinary teams. In this role, you monitor planning, quality, finances, and client satisfaction. You understand the challenges faced by clients within, for example, infrastructure, energy, industry, spatial development, and the physical living environment. Through your knowledge of permits, compliance, environmental management, and the Environment Act, you are a solid sparring partner who knows how to effectively connect content, process, and stakeholders.
