What will you do as a Project Manager Procurement & Contracting at Antea Group?

As a project manager, you will work on complex projects within infrastructure, water safety, and the energy transition. You bring projects from the drawing board to execution, in an environment where clients and contractors collaborate more intensively than ever.

You work for the (national) government, network companies, water boards, and contractors. They rely on our expertise in contract forms, procurement, and contract management. And on our skills to successfully organize collaboration within complex projects.

From our office in Almere or Deventer, you are responsible for both acquiring and realizing assignments within our field. You know the market, maintain client relationships, and identify new opportunities. Together with your colleagues, you translate the insights and questions you gather into a distinctive approach in tenders and quotes.

Additionally, you lead project leaders and project teams. You monitor scope, planning, and budget, and ensure that your assignments are executed to the satisfaction of our clients. As a member of the management team, you contribute to the further development, positioning, and commercial growth of our advisory group.

• Truly getting to know clients, discovering the demand behind the demand, and coming up with surprising solutions;

• Successfully navigating quotation processes and tenders;

• Directing, coaching, and inspiring project leaders and project teams;

• Taking shared responsibility for the commercial and substantive results of our advisory group.

You will join the Contracts advisory group, a national team of approximately 50 colleagues. They work daily on assignments such as:

• Advising on contract forms and procurement strategy;

• Drafting contract documents (UAV-gc, construction teams, framework agreements);

• Drafting demand specifications and programs of requirements (SE)

• Guiding procurement procedures;

• Organizing the assessment process in the execution phase (SCB)

• Providing training and guiding collaborations.

You work in an open and professional environment with colleagues from various backgrounds, expertise, and experience levels. Within integral engineering assignments, you also work closely with project leaders and managers from other advisory groups.

As the commercial lead, you will primarily focus on our clients in Noord-Holland, Utrecht, and Flevoland or Overijssel and Gelderland. You know their ambitions and their challenges, and you enjoy meeting and getting to know new clients better.

• You have experience as a commercial project manager, contract manager, or a similar commercial advisory role within the infra sector;

• You have a good understanding of the infrastructure market and experience with clients such as the (national) government, network operators, water boards, and contractors;

• You possess thorough knowledge of the UAV-GC and procurement legislation and have demonstrable experience with their application in infrastructure projects;

• You possess an active network within infrastructure and know how to expand this further;

• You like to get things done, work in a structured manner, and do not like half-measures; You are entrepreneurial, recognize developments and market opportunities, and know how to translate these into concrete commercial assignments.
