• €5,700 - €7,435 gross per month based on full-time employment (40 hours)

Schiphol is one of the most complex and dynamic working environments in the Netherlands. As Safety Manager, you ensure that Safety & Health (S&H) is noticeable there every day. Not on paper, but on the work floor.

You are the person between policy and practice: you translate Safety & Health into concrete actions on our projects on and around the airport, you lead a team of Intermediate Safety Specialists, and you ensure that safety, health, and environmental aspects remain secured in an environment where the bar is set high.

• You coordinate the S&H policy based on RI&E (Risk Inventory and Evaluation), management reviews, and internal and external audits

• You keep the S&H registers sharp and analyze them together with the Site Manager

• You conduct accident investigations and report on serious incidents

• You support work preparation in drafting S&H plans

• You lead 4 to 5 Intermediate Safety Specialists

• You communicate easily with stakeholders at operational and tactical levels, within Vialis, with other works companies, and with parties at the airport

• You work integrally with the disciplines of mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and electrical engineering

You report to the Site Manager and work primarily on location at Schiphol.
