Working as a business controller in a region where construction, investment, and development are in full swing? At KWS Eindhoven, you are right in the middle of the dynamic playing field of the Brainport Eindhoven region and the province of Limburg. The branch has grown to over € 80 million in turnover in recent years, thanks in part to projects for the province of Limburg, municipalities in our region, and the private sector including, for example, Strijp S. And the ambitions reach even further. You will be given the space to truly contribute to that from finance. Not only by analyzing figures, but precisely by understanding what is happening both outside and inside the organization.

Your job
KWS Eindhoven is an ambitious branch that has grown steadily in recent years and is ready for a next phase. You will join an experienced MT where the director, HR manager, and three business leaders are your most important sparring partners. They know their market, projects, and customers through and through. You will add financial sharpness and a fresh perspective to that. You are curious, ask the right questions, and want to understand why the business works the way it does. In this way, you build trust and help the MT to make well-founded choices. The current business controller is making a great internal career step, which provides a solid foundation to build upon.

From your role in the MT, you look ahead and translate financial insights into concrete actions. You are responsible for the financial-administrative policy of the branch and manage based on results, cash, and healthy business operations. In doing so, you provide requested and unsolicited advice and keep an eye on the balance between figures, opportunities, and what happens daily in the business.

A reliable financial foundation is a matter of course in this role. You ensure timely, accurate, and complete administration and clear management reports within the guidelines of KWS. Additionally, you strengthen the administrative organization and internal control and manage healthy liquidity and working capital management. During closing and budget weeks, you switch effortlessly from strategic sparring partner to financial substance and roll up your sleeves yourself where necessary. At the same time, you look beyond the numbers: what do they tell us about the business and what action does that require from us?

From your role, you are visible and involved in the organization. You move easily through the entire organization and can also regularly be found at our branch in Roermond. From conversations with business leaders and project leaders to a visit to a project. You also liaise with the group controller and CFO. You know how to make complex financial information understandable for different interlocutors. Not from finance at a distance, but as a sparring partner who knows and understands the business.

As a leader of six financial colleagues, you will get a team that is standing strong and wants to grow further. Experienced professionals work there alongside young talent within administration and project control. They are not looking for a manager who decides everything, but for someone who pays attention, is visible, and provides confidence. Someone who listens, asks the right questions, and dares to be sharp at the right moment. In this way, you create stability and development, and ensure that finance is that valuable sparring partner to the business.

Moreover, KWS Eindhoven does not stand alone. As part of KWS Infra BV with approximately 2,000 colleagues, you have plenty of financial knowledge and experience around you. You work together with colleagues within the broader KWS organization and are part of the Finance department. You also share knowledge with colleagues within the financial column of VolkerWessels. Thus, you combine the short lines and entrepreneurial spirit of the branch with the knowledge and possibilities of a large organization.
