As Operations Manager at Wilchem, we ensure that you are well taken care of; you can count on us for, at the very least, a really good cup of coffee and lunch, as well as a challenging full-time position with a lot of responsibility and influence;
A salary between € 5,000.- and € 6,500.- gross per 4-week period, depending on your knowledge and experience;
28 vacation days and a good pension scheme;
A key role in which you have direct influence on the way of working within Wilchem;

A culture of hard work and social care for one another.
The role
WILL YOU HELP US BUILD A STRONG AND FUTURE-PROOF ORGANIZATION?
At Wilchem, we are ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to keep the Netherlands safe, clean, and accessible. That is only possible when the organization behind the scenes is just as decisive as the operation outside. As Operations Manager, you will ensure that our organization is ready to grow alongside our ambitions.
You bring structure to a dynamic organization, connect people and processes, translate our ambitions into a practical way of working, and play an important role in the further digitalization (including AI development) of Wilchem.
What you'll do
What will you do?
As Operations Manager, you ensure that Wilchem's internal organization grows along with the company's ambitions. You are the connecting link between operations, administration, quality, and management, and you are also a member of the core team. You set up processes, improve and safeguard them, and ensure a uniform and efficient way of working. In doing so, you always keep in mind that business operations must support the operation. You guide the further implementation and optimization of the new ERP system (purchase Q1 2027) and, together with the key users, ensure that agreements, roles, and responsibilities are clear. You work closely with the KAM coordinator to practically and effectively safeguard policies, audits, certifications, and quality registrations. You also provide management information to the core team, identify bottlenecks and risks, and initiate and guide improvement trajectories. Additionally, you contribute to the further development of internal training and fulfill a pioneering role in the field of innovation and AI. You actively investigate how AI can further support the organization, simplify processes, and enable employees to work more effectively. You translate opportunities into concrete applications and guide their implementation within the organization. You also support contract management and coordination with legal affairs.
Are you our new hero?
You get energy from improving organizations and see where processes can be smarter, clearer, or more efficient. You bring structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy and know how to bring people along in change. You are visible in the organization and move easily between the shop floor, operational managers, and the core team. You can analyze and advise, but you also roll up your sleeves yourself. With your firm and connecting way of working, you create support and ensure that agreements are not just on paper, but are also applied in practice.
