The role

As Project Manager Bridges, Locks and Barriers, you will lead multidisciplinary teams from the initial design through to completion. You will monitor planning, budget, and quality while maintaining an overview. You will manage stakeholders and subcontractors and ensure contracts, safety, and agreements are upheld. You will identify risks in a timely manner and report clearly on progress.

What will you do?

Leading multidisciplinary project teams in the new construction and renovation of bridges, locks, and barriers
Drafting and monitoring project plans, budgets, and schedules
Managing internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors
Ensuring compliance with contracts, quality requirements, and safety standards
Identifying risks and proactively adjusting where necessary
Reporting on progress to the department and PMC management

What do you bring?

HBO/WO degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager in infrastructure or hydraulic engineering
Knowledge of contract forms (UAV-GC, RAW) and project management methodologies
Strong communication skills and leadership
Affinity with sustainability and innovative solutions
