KAM Coordinator in the Netherlands

As a medior/senior HSE Coordinator, you focus not only on managing existing systems and processes, but specifically on improving them. You analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate these into concrete actions that contribute to a future-proof organization.

You provide introductions for new employees so that they can start their work safely and well-informed. Additionally, you are regularly present on projects where you coach and advise work preparers, executors, project leaders, and management in the areas of safety, quality, and risk management. You are an important driver of our ambition to maintain and further develop at least step 4 of the Safety Culture Ladder.

In the area of quality, you are responsible for monitoring and further developing our management system. You ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and VCA, and you play an active role in optimizing procedures, processes, and working methods. You also conduct internal audits and guide external audits from certification bodies.

Additionally, you deal with environmental management, including environmental registrations, incident analyses, and further strengthening environmental awareness within the organization.

Through your experience and expertise, you make an important contribution to the further development of the HSE department and help Gebr. Van Kessel reach a higher maturity level in the areas of quality, safety, and environment.

You are an experienced HSE professional who easily switches between operational, tactical, and strategic levels. You know how to bring people along with changes, dare to look critically at existing processes, and are able to successfully implement improvements.

In addition, you possess:

• A completed HBO degree, preferably in Integral Safety Science, Middle Safety Science, or similar;

• Multiple years of relevant work experience within quality, occupational health and safety, environment, and safety;

• Experience in guiding change processes and further professionalizing organizations;

• Sound knowledge of management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and VCA;

• Strong communication skills and the ability to advise and coach at various levels within the organization;

• Availability of preferably 40 hours per week (32 hours is negotiable).

Knowledge of BRLs within the civil engineering sector and/or soil contamination is a plus. Do you not yet have all the experience in this area? Then we offer opportunities for you to develop further.
