Construction Team Leader
Are you ready for a further step in your development as a Civil Engineering Designer or do you want a new environment as a design leader? Then we have a beautiful position open at our branch! We are looking for someone who is process-oriented, with a design background, who will take the lead for us on design issues in tenders, construction teams, and projects in execution in our region.

Your job
As a Construction Team Leader, you are the pivot in the success of our infra projects. You take the lead from the tender through to realization. Together with your construction team, you ensure that projects are not only technically correct, but also truly add value for the client and the environment.

You develop a smart tender strategy and convince clients with a strong presentation. You guide the design process from sketch to execution design, continuously switching between client wishes, constructability, and budget. You manage a multidisciplinary construction team, motivate colleagues, and share your knowledge. You maintain intensive contact with clients and stakeholders, keeping an eye on both the hard and soft sides of collaboration. You monitor progress, quality, planning, and finances, so that the project proceeds smoothly and successfully.

In this role, there are various growth opportunities to, for example, large projects within KWS@vice, or in the region as a tender manager and project manager.

As a Construction Team Leader:
• You enjoy collaborating, being involved in the content, achieving the best design, and being the trailblazer in the construction team phase

• You have an HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level and an education in the direction of civil engineering;

• You have at least 3 years of experience with designs in earth, road, and hydraulic engineering;

• You have knowledge of modeling software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D;

• You have experience with interface management, BIM, and systems engineering;

• You master the Dutch language in word and writing, English is a plus

KWS Infra Zwolle-Leek location realizes small and large infrastructure projects from design to execution and maintenance in the provinces of Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel, Flevoland, and in the northern part of the province of Gelderland. Independently as a location or together with other parts within KWS or VolkerWessels. The types of projects are diverse, such as road construction, hydraulic engineering, earthmoving, contributing to the construction of data centers and wind farms, or maintenance of infrastructure objects.
