The role

Are you an experienced project leader with a passion for non-residential construction and complex residential construction? At Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Amsterdam, you will get the chance to work on large, challenging projects that make a difference in the urban environment. We are looking for a decisive professional with persuasiveness, entrepreneurship, and proven experience in realizing complex construction tasks. Ready to deploy your expertise and bring impressive projects to life together with a strong team?

What you'll do

The coming years at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Amsterdam will be characterized by large-scale, challenging non-residential and residential construction projects. To make these ambitions a reality, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial project leader who makes a difference with persuasiveness and craftsmanship. Do you get energy from complex projects such as the Pontsteiger on the IJ, the Elements area development in Haarlem, or the EMA office at the Zuidas? Then you will get the chance to work on similar, leading projects with us. Here, you are not only building the city, but also your own impact and growth.

Whether it concerns safety, quality, time, or budget: as a project leader, you have every aspect of a project in your sights. As a project leader, you are responsible for the organization and realization of one or more projects in progress. In this role, you work closely with your colleagues from preparation and execution and provide direction to a project team of professionals from various disciplines. This way, you ensure together that the project objectives are achieved. You dive into construction methodologies and planning with the tender team during the preliminary phase, where you know how to enthuse your team and keep the focus on the customer. Additionally, you fulfill the role of contract manager and anticipate opportunities and risks in a timely manner. Consultation with the client is crucial, so you must also understand well where their interests lie. Your knowledge of LEAN working and BIM challenges you to work in a distinctive and customer-oriented manner with your project team. You follow developments and innovations within the construction sector closely, always enthusiastically involving your colleagues.

About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of – iconic and close to home – and contributing to solutions for societal issues.

Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with committed people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a work environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and make more together with us.

We are looking for new colleagues who roll up their sleeves and love a challenge. With the prevailing no-nonsense mentality, we realize projects that truly impress. The region in which we operate, the Amsterdam metropolitan area, is perhaps the most dynamic in the Netherlands. Competition is high and projects are diverse and complex. As a result, we are continuously challenged to get the best out of ourselves within all our fields: area development, residential construction, utility construction, renovation, and transformation.

We would love to give you an impression of our culture and DNA. Together, we have the drive to create projects time and again that we are proud of, and we love to show them off.
