Residential Construction Project Leader

• A completed education in Civil Engineering or Architecture at a minimum HBO/WO (higher professional/university) level;

• Work experience within complex residential construction, of which at least 4 years as a project leader;

• Excellent communication skills and, of course, leadership;

• You know how to get others on board, take ownership, and have a proactive attitude;

• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity, and a customer-oriented mindset. Familiar with BIM? That would be great;

• At least 32 hours per week available to work. Are you available full-time? That is also fine!

As a Residential Construction Project Leader at Ballast Nedam West in Capelle aan den IJssel, you will be involved in realizing our beautiful, high-quality residential construction projects. You are involved in all aspects of the construction process. Whether it concerns safety, quality, budget, or time, you know it all! You provide direction to your colleagues and construction partners, knowing how to get everyone enthusiastic while maintaining focus on the customer's requirements. In this way, you ensure that you, together with your team and the parties involved, achieve the project objectives by conducting structural consultations with our partners, your colleagues, and the client.

From the design development (DO) phase onwards, you look at the plan development regarding the technical feasibility of the construction project, the construction costs, and also the overall planning. You do not lose sight of the deployment of equipment and materials during this process. Due to your involvement, insight, and expertise in this phase, you gain many insights that you then know how to use effectively during the realization phase. You monitor the process, you seek collaboration with all parties, and of course, you closely follow developments in the construction sector.

You do not do all this alone, of course, but together with an enthusiastic and close-knit team where people enjoy working together and where your colleagues are there for you. Your team consists of, among others, a purchaser, plan developer, office staff member, housing coach, project controller, and of course, the work preparer and site manager are also part of this group. Hard work is done, but there is certainly also room for conviviality, humor, and of course, fun activities are regularly organized!
