Contract Manager in the Netherlands

As a Contract Manager, you are closely involved in our energy infrastructure projects. You support the project manager and the project team in everything related to contract management.

Your responsibilities include identifying and initiating changes. Subsequently, you ensure that the consequences for Money, Risk, Organization, Time, and Information (GROTIK) are made transparent together with the project team.

You also independently identify, untangle, and contractually substantiate claims. You ensure proper file documentation and know which information is required to well-substantiate a position towards the client.

Additionally, you are an important interlocutor for the project manager during contractual discussions. You address the project team when agreements are not being met and make it clear what the contractual and commercial consequences may be.

Ideally, you prevent disputes. If one does arise, you ensure it is handled professionally and in a controlled manner.

You work from Groningen and are active within our projects in the region. In doing so, you work closely with project managers, site managers, work planners, and other colleagues within the project.

• HBO+ working and thinking level.
• Experience with UAV-GC, for example as a contract manager, project controller, or project leader.
• A technical background and preferably experience within infrastructure or energy infrastructure.
• Experience with projects for TenneT is a plus.
• You have enthusiasm and interest in UAV-GC and contract management.
• You can identify and initiate changes and make the consequences for GROTIK transparent with the project team.
• You can independently identify and untangle paragraph 44 claims and demonstrate their legitimacy.
• You have experience with file documentation.
• You support project managers during contractual discussions.
• You dare to hold the project team accountable for contractual agreements and can clearly explain the consequences of choices and actions.
• You are strong in negotiation and communication.
• You have a commercial and pragmatic mindset.
• You are focused on preventing contractual disputes, but also know how to manage them professionally if they arise.
