As a Contract Manager, in the Brownfield & Maintenance team for the North-East region based in Hoogeveen, you will ensure that contractual agreements within complex infrastructure projects are managed and successfully executed. Together with your team, you will work on the expansion and renewal of the electricity grid, which contributes to a stable and sustainable energy system.

As a Contract Manager, you are responsible for the contract management of complex infrastructure projects, so that the Netherlands can continue to rely on reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy.

• You manage contracts throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from contract signing to contract closure, so that contractual obligations, agreements, and expectations are demonstrably met.
• You analyze contractual risks, changes, claims, and deviations and advise project teams on these, so that projects are executed in a controlled and predictable manner.
• You coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and other contracting parties, so that contractual interests, performance, and expectations remain in balance.
• You monitor contractual progress, financial consequences, risks, decisions, actions, and outstanding issues, so that timely adjustments can be made where necessary.
• You develop and implement contract strategies within projects and contribute to the further professionalization of contract management, so that future projects are optimally supported.
• You support governance and decision-making processes regarding changes, RFCs, and claims, so that contractual and project-related objectives are realized.

You work within a complex project environment in which collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is central. Here, you combine knowledge of contracts, risk management, and stakeholder management with the ability to reach supported solutions within multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you make an active contribution to the further development of contract management within the organization.
