Contract Manager

A maintenance contract is expiring, a customer has expansion plans, and internally the service department and account manager are coordinating the next steps. You keep the overview. As Contract Manager at PBT, you ensure that agreements do not end up in a drawer, but are actually fulfilled. You know what has been agreed, where the risks lie, and where the opportunities are to further expand the collaboration.

You work from the head office in Heerhugowaard and have a lot of contact with colleagues from service, project management, and commerce. Together, you ensure that security, fire safety, and telecom solutions continue to function reliably for customers who place high demands on safety, continuity, and quality.

PBT is a technical specialist with over 100 employees and branches in Heerhugowaard, Ter Aar, and Blaricum. As Contract Manager, you are responsible for managing, monitoring, and further developing contracts and service agreements. You act as a link between technology, commerce, and customer interests.

• You draft Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and safeguard made agreements

• You manage maintenance contracts and contracts for IT and telecom services

• You monitor the progress, quality, and compliance of contractual agreements

• You work closely with account managers, project leaders, and the service department

• You identify commercial opportunities, improvement initiatives, and possibilities for contract expansion

• You support purchasing agreements, supplier relationships, and outsourcing

• You can fulfill a role within procurement, tenders, or bid management

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level, for example in technical business administration, commercial economics, or a similar field

• Experience within electrical engineering, security technology, fire safety, or a similar technical environment

• Experience with contract management, service contracts, or relationship management

• Commercial insight and a sense for customer relationships

• A structured and accurate way of working

• Good communication skills and the ability to connect different interests

• Experience with large projects, service organizations, or Syntess is a plus
