The role

Do you want to help young people aged 12 to 18 with complex problems to grow and develop? At Behandelgroep KomPact, we offer specialist care in a small-scale and safe environment, where independence and social skills are central. Together with a dedicated team and the young person's network, we work on a strong foundation for the future.

Requirements

You have an affinity for young people with complex problems and enjoy guiding them in their daily development. You like working within a team, are able to reflect well on your own actions, and dare to take initiative. Additionally, you like to roll up your sleeves and see challenges as an opportunity to learn and further develop yourself.

At the start of the internship, you are in your 3rd or 4th year of a relevant HBO degree (e.g., Pedagogy, Social Work, Applied Psychology, or similar).
Upon completion of this internship, there is, in consultation, the possibility to conduct a graduation research project within KomPact;
You are willing to work irregular hours (having your own transport is useful in this regard).

What we offer

We offer an educational internship in which you can optimally develop yourself, both personally and professionally. You will do your internship in a beautiful working environment with an informal and collegial atmosphere, with a team that stands for the target group.

The CAO Jeugdzorg applies. Every intern receives an internship allowance of €625 per month (based on 32 hours per week);
Guidance by a permanent supervisor within the team;
A clear and methodical concept from which guidance and leadership are provided;
Internship period starting from February 2027 for at least 10 months.

About the company & team

Behandelgroep KomPact offers specialist care to young people aged 12 to 18 with complex attachment, trauma, and other issues. Our name, KomPact, stands for Kleinschalig op maat Pactum, and that is exactly what we stand for: a safe, small-scale environment in which young people receive tailor-made guidance. Our team consists of dedicated youth care workers who respond to the individual needs of each young person with a positive and humorous approach. We offer structure, guidance, and a listening ear, so that they can develop optimally on their way to adulthood.

Your internship, your development
As an intern at KomPact, you play an active role in the daily guidance of young people. You support them with personal care, school, and leisure activities, and help them develop emotion regulation and social skills, both individually and in a group setting. Additionally, you stimulate their independence by teaching them practical skills, such as household tasks.

An important part of your work is dealing with crisis interventions and conflict management. Within KomPact, creating a stable and safe environment is central, in which young people are given the space to grow and learn. We always do this in close cooperation with their network, because we believe in the power of connection and support from the environment.
