What we're looking for

HBO/WO level of working and thinking and an education in a technical field;
Leadership experience with the capacity to build and develop a team;
Experience with NPI, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or industrialization within a manufacturing environment;
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
A structured, analytical, and hands-on way of working.

Nice to have

Experience with complex modules, machines, or systems in project-based, high-mix/low-volume, or regulated production is a strong plus;

The role

As Industrialization Technology Team Leader, you will lead a new multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will form this new department and develop a uniform way of working for industrialization projects, working closely with engineering, production, and the industrialization logistics department. With your team, you ensure that new and modified products are brought to the shop floor in a safe, manufacturable, testable, and cost-efficient manner. Your tasks include:

What you'll do

Directing, coaching, and developing the Industrialization Technology team;
Organizing early manufacturability, assemblability, testability, and maintainability assessments (DfX);
Driving first-time-right, process capability, yield, cycle time, time-to-industrialize, and a controlled transfer to production;
Initiating improvements in methods and standards across projects.
Early identification of technical risks;
Reporting on progress, risks, decision points, deviations, and technical production readiness

You are a strong and connecting technical team leader who is capable of setting clear priorities. With your technical knowledge, you can engage in substantive discussions with engineers and specialists. Maintaining an overview of planning, risks, quality, and results is no problem for you.
