Quality & Compliance Team Leader

• HBO or University degree in Law, Logistics, International Trade, Customs Affairs,  Customs Compliance or similar
• Knowledge of customs legislation, compliance, and import/export processes;
• Experience with trade, logistics, or customs processes;

• Good command of Dutch and English; German is a plus.

• A market-conform salary and 30 vacation days on a full-time basis;

In the role of Quality & Compliance Team Leader, you will combine legal knowledge, quality management, and team leadership.

Your role
You ensure compliance with customs legislation, monitor quality and compliance, and translate complex laws and regulations into practical solutions. You lead the Quality & Compliance team of 3 FTE and work together with colleagues, management, and SGS Legal Benelux.

You are a true working foreman or woman: a leader who stays close to the team and, when the situation calls for it, actively participates in the daily activities.

Your responsibilities:

• Following and translating national and international customs laws and regulations
• Monitoring compliance, quality, and AEO-related standards
• Advising on risks, legislation, and strategic issues
• Improving processes, procedures, and systems
• Developing and maintaining compliance instructions
• Preparing and guiding audits
• Handling claims and legal customs issues
