Utilities Team Leader - Day Shift - Nijkerk

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree, for example AOT, Maritime Officer, Marine Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in a leadership role within maintenance or utilities.
• Thorough knowledge of utilities installations and maintenance strategy.
• Experience with FMECA, maintenance engineering, fault analysis, budget management, and process improvement.
• Familiar with maintenance systems such as SAP PM.
• Knowledge of safety, work permits, LOTO, and VCA.
• Willingness to work on-call shifts when necessary.
• Coaching, decisive, and result-oriented leadership style.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with various stakeholders.
• Analytical, decisive, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement.

For our production location in Nijkerk, we are looking for a Utilities Team Leader who is responsible for managing the utilities team and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all utilities.

In this role, you will lead a team of technicians and specialists and ensure the safe and stable operation of installations in the fields of energy, steam, water, compressed air, and cooling. You are responsible for maintenance strategy, process optimization, and cost control, and you play a key role in the further professionalization of the utilities organization.

You are the connecting link between operations, technical departments, and external partners, and you actively contribute to continuous improvement and the future-proofing of the site.

• Leading a team of technicians and specialists within Utilities.
• Coaching, developing, and supporting the team in their daily activities.
• Setting priorities and ensuring good planning and execution of activities.
• Ensuring the safety, quality, and reliability of utilities installations.
• Developing, managing, and improving maintenance plans and maintenance strategies.
• Analyzing malfunctions, data, and KPIs to implement improvements.
• Optimizing processes, systems, documentation, and work instructions, including in SAP PM.
• Coordinating with production, planning, warehouse, purchasing, and external suppliers.
• Monitoring maintenance costs and substantiating choices with reports and insights.
