Warehouse Team Leader

• at least 2 years of demonstrable leadership experience within a logistics 3PL environment, preferably in a multi-client warehouse;
• willingness to work in a 2-shift roster of 06:00 - 15:00 / 10:00 - 19:00 or 06:00 - 15:00 / 15:00 - 24:00;
• good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• You are a motivator who knows how to inspire employees and connect them to the department goals

Are you the natural logistics team leader who brings calm to the dynamics of a large multi-client warehouse? Do you know how to switch effortlessly between different client interests and do you get the best out of your team? Then we are looking for you!

As a team leader, you are one of the driving forces within the DSV 's-Heerenberg team. The daily management of your team is based on the agreed targets with the client, our internally set standards, and of course the various KPIs; you contribute to achieving them.

How do you do this? You are the colleague our supervisor can always count on. This is because you have excellent insight into what is happening within our warehouse. Because we work for different clients, you ensure that every package, every pallet, and every order is handled on time and error-free. You achieve this by:

• distributing the daily operational activities and acting as the first point of contact for 15 to 30 colleagues;
• timely identifying deviations and disruptions in the activities;
• providing input for improvement projects focused on processes and procedures;
• supervising compliance with legal, company, and safety regulations;
• being deployable in both inbound and outbound processes for optimal flexibility within the team.
