Requirements

What we're looking for

You possess a Bachelor's degree (HBO) in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, technical business administration, or equivalent.
You bring several years of work experience in a similar role.
You have experience in managing activities and employees from different departments.
In addition to the Dutch language, you possess good knowledge of English both spoken and written; German is a plus.
You are an analytically strong, communicative, and proactive team player with a hands-on mentality.
We also invite starters to respond to this position.

Nice to have

You preferably have experience with quality systems IATF 16949 (formerly TS16949), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and process assurance.
You preferably have knowledge of improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean).

The role

As a Senior Quality Engineer in the quality department, you are involved at an early stage in the development of new products. In this process, you support your colleagues in the field of quality and advise them on this subject, which influences the manufacturability of the products. Additionally, you are responsible for proactively initiating, preparing, and executing activities in order to ensure and improve product quality. In this process, you work closely with colleagues from, among others, the engineering, purchasing, sales, and production departments. You are also in continuous consultation with customers regarding delivered quality and complaint handling.
