Within our production department, specialized technical products are assembled, such as control cabinets, fertilizer dosing units, and water treatment systems. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you play an important role in ensuring quality, reliability, and continuity within our international supply chain.

In this role, you will set up local production and logistics processes and translate central working methods into effective local applications. You will validate assembly, testing, and packaging processes and ensure clear documentation and work instructions.

Additionally, you will support the selection and qualification of components and suppliers and safeguard product specifications in PDM and ERP systems. You will monitor product and delivery quality, perform audits, and initiate improvement projects where necessary.

You will work closely with R&D, Purchasing, and suppliers within product development and supply chain projects and ensure clear communication between all parties involved.

Finally, you will actively contribute to process improvements by applying Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies, report on quality performance, and monitor KPIs regarding incoming quality and warranty claims.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer with a focus on our production location in China, you will support the startup, setup, and safeguarding of a new production and logistics location from the head office.

You will focus on setting up, validating, and documenting production, quality, and logistics processes for the assembly of, among other things, switch panels, sensor systems, and water treatment installations for fertilizer dosing. Additionally, you will support colleagues within the Supplier Quality Engineering team in various quality and improvement projects.
