A crucial role within the department is that of the QC (Quality Control) engineer. This professional focuses specifically on First Article Inspection (FAI) and the product handover of our production processes. The Quality Engineer actively participates in improvement programs based on the Lean Six Sigma methodology, with which we continuously strive for the streamlining and optimization of our processes.
By placing emphasis on the handover in the factory, we ensure that only products of the highest quality leave our production. With a sharp eye, the QC engineer checks whether the produced items meet the strict requirements and quality standards.
The main tasks are:
· Validating the quality of the end product.
· Checking the quality of incoming goods.
· Drawing up an NCR (Non-Conformity Report) if necessary.
· Proposing initiatives for quality improvements.
· Performing FAI (First Article Inspections) on new production batches.
