The role

Make the difference where quality truly becomes complex.

As a Quality Improvement Engineer, you tackle the most complex quality challenges. You investigate recurring problems, discover the true root causes, and transform data into structural improvements that deliver lasting results.

What you'll do

One day you might facilitate an RCA regarding a recurring customer issue. The next day, you analyze quality data together with Engineering and Operations to make patterns, risks, and structural improvement opportunities visible. On another day, you work on a dashboard or digital quality platform that allows us to better predict and manage our performance.

Your work does not stop at finding a cause or developing a solution. You ask the question: "How do we ensure that this improvement truly works, is embraced, and becomes a lasting part of our way of working?"

That is why, in this role, you combine in-depth problem-solving and data analytics with change management. You connect people, processes, systems, and data, and ensure that improvements are not only technically correct, but also deliver demonstrable results and are sustainably secured.

You work on improvements that are directly visible in our quality performance and with our customers. In doing so:

  • You lead organization-wide quality and improvement projects with demonstrable impact.

  • You use data from, among others, yield, FPY, scrap, rework, NCRs, complaints, and audits to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • You develop dashboards, analyses, and digital quality solutions that make our performance insightful and manageable.

  • You lead and facilitate RCA, 8D, DMAIC, and Lean Six Sigma processes.

  • You translate analyses into robust CAPAs and structural improvement measures.

  • You challenge existing ways of working when data and facts show that better is possible.

  • You involve stakeholders in change and ensure that improvements are understood, supported, implemented, and secured.

  • You connect people, processes, systems, and data to realize sustainable results.

  • You help build an organization in which data-driven problem solving and continuous improvement are part of the daily way of working, and you coach your colleagues in this.

By combining strong problem-solving with change management, you ensure that improvements are not only conceived but also actually embraced and anchored within the organization. In this way, you deliver a direct impact on our performance, customer satisfaction, and quality culture.

When are you successful?

Not when yet another RCA or 8D has been completed. But when recurring problems disappear, performance demonstrably improves, and the organization becomes increasingly capable of solving problems structurally.

That is the impact we seek, and you deliver.
