You ensure everything is correct before the first technician goes into the field. As a Work Preparer Installation Services and Telecom at Strukton Rail, you will work on essential installations within the rail infrastructure in the Center and North of the Netherlands. Think of CCTV systems, OVCP, public address systems, and network construction activities. From Utrecht and Zwolle, you are the pivot between preparation, execution, and delivery.

With your technical insight and structured approach, you ensure that our projects proceed safely, predictably, and according to schedule. You work on contracts that contribute directly to the availability and safety of the railway.

You are responsible for the complete work preparation of installation services and telecom projects. Specifically, this means you will be involved in:

• Calculating: preparing and assessing cost estimates for installation services and network construction activities.
• Preparing: developing work plans, schedules, and work instructions for CCTV, OVCP, and public address systems.
• Process supervision: monitoring progress, quality, and safety during execution.
• Alignment and coordination: liaising with project managers, supervisors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Delivery process: organizing and managing the complete delivery process of network and installation activities, including documentation and handover.

You bring calm and overview to complex technical projects. You do this because you:

• have experience with work preparation; if this is within installation technology and/or telecom, that is a bonus.
• are technically proficient and quickly grasp processes;
• work in a structured manner and switch easily between multiple projects;
• have an eye for safety, quality, and tight delivery;
• enjoy collaborating and communicate clearly with different disciplines;
• have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
